The Baker Behind the Biz | Moore About Julie
Updated: Oct 20, 2021
She's the baker with the personal touch! Who is she? How did this successful bakery begin?

In 2016, Julie Moore was making cake pops in her kitchen as part of a fundraising campaign for her daughter’s mission trip. The mission trip came and went, but the orders never stopped. A one-time fundraiser has grown into a small-town bakery servicing over 100 weddings to date along with numerous birthdays, graduations, and other special occasions as well as corporate events.

While her kitchen has now transformed into an industrialized bakery, perfect for accommodating large scale needs, Julie still prides herself on the personal touches. With that in mind, let’s get to know a little more about the baker behind the business.
The Baker Backstory
A Pennsylvania native, Julie went to college in Georgia where she earned
her degree in elementary education. She’s been married 29 years to a fellow diehard Steelers fan and together they have three children aged 24, 25, and 26. She has spent most of her adult life teaching children, most notably as part of the Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA.
Despite her love of children, there was a clear passion for baking and her skill set is entirely self-taught. Given this, and her degree, it is no surprise that one of her favorite parts of the business is teaching decorating classes (visit our *decorating classes* tab for more details).

As a small-town business, Julie prides herself in the little details and ensuring that each customer is satisfied. Every cake, cupcake, and cupcake bouquet is custom designed and topped with homemade (yep, homemade) icing that is sure to make your next event as sweet as can be.
